RAZE™ is operated by Human Performance Design Solutions, LLC ("HPDS," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the RAZE™ application and website. By using RAZE™, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
When you create a RAZE™ account during onboarding, we collect:
During use of the app, RAZE™ records session activity including session type, duration, biometric scan results (HR, HRV, breathing rate), session scores, Neuro Drill scores, streaks, achievements, and Raze Points (RP). Session logs, scores, profile details, community posts, and messages are stored in your RAZE™ account in our secure cloud database (Supabase), protected by Row Level Security.
If you take part in a team, pilot, or beta program, we may invite you by email or text message to complete a short periodic survey — for example a weekly check-in asking you to rate, on a 1–5 scale, how ready you felt and how much RAZE™ helped, plus optional written comments. Taking part is voluntary, and choosing not to answer does not affect your access to RAZE™ or your standing on your team.
Survey invitations contain a personal one-time link. Opening that link identifies you to us without a separate sign-in, so treat it like a password and do not forward it. We store your answers against your RAZE™ account together with your team and role, so that responses can be compared with your own session history over time.
Your individual survey answers are not shown to your coach, your team, or your school. Coaches and program staff receive only group-level summaries, and a group summary is withheld entirely where the group is too small for answers to be meaningfully anonymous. Written comments are read only by the RAZE™ team. If you would like your survey responses deleted, contact us and we will remove them.
RAZE™ uses your device's front-facing camera to perform a brief (about 30-second), non-invasive facial scan that measures heart rate, HRV, and breathing rate via photoplethysmography (PPG). The scan is processed on your device and used solely to generate your Neuro-State readiness score. We do not capture, store, or transmit any facial images or video, and we do not store raw biometric sensor data on our servers — only the resulting metrics (e.g., heart rate, HRV) are saved to your account so you can track your progress over time.
If you connect Apple Health / Apple Watch, RAZE™ reads metrics you authorize — such as heart rate variability, resting heart rate, respiratory rate, and sleep — to add recovery context to your sessions. This data is read on-device with your permission and is not sold. If you connect a third-party wearable (Whoop, Oura), your use of those platforms is governed by their respective privacy policies. RAZE™ only accesses the data you explicitly authorize, and you can revoke access at any time in your device settings.
Your account and profile information, session and drill history, scores, achievements, community posts, and messages are stored securely in our cloud database (Supabase), protected by Row Level Security so that your private data is accessible only to you and, where applicable, the people you share it with through community features. We implement industry-standard security measures; however, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
RAZE™ includes social and team features. Some information is, by design, visible to other people who use RAZE™:
Please consider what you share, and avoid posting sensitive personal information in community features.
We use a product-analytics provider (PostHog) to understand how RAZE™ is used so we can improve it. This may include events such as screens viewed and features used, along with device type, app version, and IP address (from which an approximate location may be derived). It is not used to make medical determinations.
The RAZE™ Coach uses a third-party AI model — Anthropic's Claude (Claude Haiku 4.5) — to generate personalized coaching suggestions inside the app. When you use the Coach, we send Anthropic the limited context needed to produce a response: your selected performance goal, any note you type to the Coach, and, if available, the general biometric metrics from your scan (such as heart rate, HRV, and breathing rate). We do not send your name, email, or other directly identifying information to the AI provider. Anthropic processes this input to return a suggestion and, per its commercial terms, does not use it to train its models. The Coach provides general wellness and performance guidance only; it is not medical advice and does not diagnose, treat, or cure any condition. Anthropic's handling of the data it receives is governed by its own privacy policy. If you'd prefer not to use AI-generated coaching, you can simply not use the Coach feature.
Membership payments, where applicable, are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number or payment credentials; those are handled directly by Stripe under its own privacy policy.
RAZE™ relies on trusted third-party providers to deliver the service, including Supabase (data storage and authentication), Stripe (payments), PostHog (analytics), Anthropic (the Claude AI that powers the RAZE Coach), Cloudflare (media delivery), Resend (delivery of account, survey, and notification email), and Netlify (website hosting). RAZE™ may also integrate with wearable platforms (Whoop, Oura Ring, Apple Health) and music services (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music). When you connect these services, your use of those platforms is governed by their respective privacy policies, and RAZE™ only accesses the data you explicitly authorize.
Information you submit is retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. You may request deletion of your account data at any time.
Biometric metrics are deleted automatically after 90 days. The heart rate, HRV, and breathing-rate figures produced by a scan are removed from our systems 90 days after the scan, by an automated daily job; your session history and scores remain so you can still track progress. Facial images and video are never captured or stored at any point. Survey responses are retained for the duration of the program they relate to and are deleted on request. If you delete your account, all of this is removed as part of that process, as described on our account deletion page.
You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@thehpds.com. We will respond to verified requests within 30 days.
RAZE™ is intended for users ages 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, and use by children under 13 is not permitted. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
Users ages 13–17 may use RAZE™ only with the consent and involvement of a parent or legal guardian, and should review this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service with that parent or guardian before creating an account or completing a biometric scan. By allowing a minor in this age range to use RAZE™, the parent or guardian consents to the collection and use of the minor's information — including the biometric metrics (heart rate, HRV, breathing rate) derived from the on-device scan — as described in this policy. Note that RAZE™ does not capture, store, or transmit facial images or video; only the resulting metrics are saved. A parent or guardian may request access to, correction of, or deletion of a minor's information at any time by contacting info@thehpds.com.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of RAZE™ after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
